May 30 was a very special day for the digital marketing sector. Great professionals from all over Spain gathered at the free online event #VamosTalegón, organized by Sico de Andrés and Miguelo to raise funds to help a colleague in the sector, Alberto Talegón, who was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in his liver. Alberto has spent years sharing his knowledge with the online marketing world from his extensive experience and this was the way in which the industry wanted to thank him.
Many experts in SEO, SEM, CRO, UX, e-commerce, social networks, etc. did not hesitate and joined the initiative. From Human Level we contributed our bit as sponsors of the event and Fernando Maciá, our director, spoke during the event with his presentation “Is it worth continuing to invest in SEO in 2020?”. The fundraising goal of €20,000 was achieved even before the event, so all the money donated afterwards (almost €10,000 more!) went to AECC (Spanish Association Against Cancer).
